Contemporary Intensive leading to Dance with the Devil.
We are looking for dancers to participate in a contemporary intensive leading into Dance with the Devil, taking place October 16–18 at Maple Leaf Ballet.
This is an intermediate-level performance piece with a strong focus on emotional storytelling, character work, and performance quality. The choreography will require dancers who are comfortable exploring intense and challenging themes, including grief, rage, violence, vulnerability, and sadness.
Thursdays, 7:30PM - 9:30PM
Session starts September 3rd
Located at 202 - 734 Aldebury Street, Esquimalt
Prerequisite: By Application
Dance with the Devil - October 16th - 18th
Mandatory Tech - October 10th
Cost: $349 + GST
Early Bird Pricing: $299 + GST until Aug. 1st
Payments can be made in a lump sum or by payment plan.
Payment plans available: $100 deposit due upon registration + remainder broken into 2 instalments (September - October) + GST

Applications will remain open until Tuesday, August 18th at 5:00 PM or until the program is filled. Please note that applications may close earlier if all available spaces are accepted.
Applicants should have:
2+ years of dance experience
Confidence with turns and intermediate-level choreography
Some experience with floor work
A strong interest in performance and emotional expression
Classes are open to individuals who are 19 years of age or older. Performance dates are subject to change.
Class Cancellation Policy
More than 14 days before the first scheduled class: Participants may cancel their registration and receive a full refund, including any registration deposit paid.
Between 7 and 14 days before the first scheduled class: Participants may cancel and receive a 50% refund of all payments made, including the registration deposit.
Less than 7 days before the first scheduled class or after the program has begun:No refunds will be issued.Participants enrolled in a payment plan remain responsible for the full balance of the program, as their place in the program has been reserved.
Payment Plans
Participants who choose a payment plan are committing to the full cost of the program. If a participant cancels less than 7 days before the first class or after the program has begun, any remaining scheduled payments will continue according to the agreed payment schedule.
In extenuating circumstances, cancellations may be considered for a credit toward a future Pandora’s Box Cabaret class series, at the discretion of Pandora’s Box Cabaret.
Studio Accessibility: All classes will take place in our brand new studio on 734 Aldebury, Esquimalt. This studio is located on the 2nd floor, up a set of exterior steps. Sadly, there is no elevator located in the space. There is one single occupancy gender inclusive washroom in the studio.
