Pandora’s Box Cabaret is a bold, immersive performance company specializing in cabaret and variety entertainment that blurs the line between audience and performer. From the West Coast of Canada to stages across the UK, we’ve built a reputation for shows that are as heartfelt as they are daring, a dazzling mix of burlesque, dance, drag, and comedy.
Beyond our live shows, we also offer burlesque and comedy classes designed to empower artists and newcomers alike to discover their own spark of stage magic.
About our Founder
Miss Claire Marie, also known as Rita Gayworth is the founder and director of Pandora’s Box Cabaret and the creative force behind its signature blend of cabaret, burlesque, comedy, and dance.
A graduate of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Claire has written, produced, and directed shows across the West Coast of Canada and the United Kingdom. A professional emcee and former MainStage comedian with Vancouver TheatreSports, she brings quick wit, heart, and theatrical flair to every performance.
In addition to leading Pandora’s Box, Claire teaches heels dance with Luminesque, burlesque with Pole Coven, and comedy with Garden City Improv and the City of Victoria. Her one-woman show, which debuted in Edinburgh in 2022, reflects the same mix of humour, heart, and creative spark that defines every Pandora’s Box production.
