Always wanted to be an actor? Now's your chance!
Whether you're stepping onto the stage for the first time or looking to sharpen your acting skills, this welcoming open-level class is the perfect place to explore performance in a supportive, creative environment.
Over six weeks, you'll develop your craft through scene study, character development exercises, acting techniques, and improvisation. This session will focus on dialogue scenes, giving students the opportunity to work closely with scene partners while building confidence, emotional connection, and stage presence.
The series culminates in an in-studio showcase, where you'll perform your scene for friends, family, and fellow students.
With over 15 years of performance experience in theatre, dance, and live entertainment, instructor Claire Marie brings a fun, encouraging, and collaborative approach to acting, helping students discover authentic performances while building confidence both on and off the stage.

Cost: $225 + GST
Early Bird Pricing: $199 + GST until Aug. 1st
Classes are open to individuals who are 19 years of age or older. Performance dates are subject to change.
Class Cancellation Policy
More than 14 days before the first scheduled class: Participants may cancel their registration and receive a full refund, including any registration deposit paid.
Between 7 and 14 days before the first scheduled class: Participants may cancel and receive a 50% refund of all payments made, including the registration deposit.
Less than 7 days before the first scheduled class or after the program has begun:No refunds will be issued.Participants enrolled in a payment plan remain responsible for the full balance of the program, as their place in the program has been reserved.
In extenuating circumstances, cancellations may be considered for a credit toward a future Pandora’s Box Cabaret class series, at the discretion of Pandora’s Box Cabaret.
Studio Accessibility: All classes will take place in our brand new studio on 734 Aldebury, Esquimalt. This studio is located on the 2nd floor, up a set of exterior steps. Sadly, there is no elevator located in the space. There is one single occupancy gender inclusive washroom in the studio.
