12:00 - 1:00 Feather Fans 101
Curious about using feather fans? Come learn the basics of holding, using, and caring for your fans for your burlesque act in this hands-on workshop. If you have feather fans, please bring them; if not, you will have the chance to try the moves with Halena's feather fans. Beginner-friendly; shoes optional!
1:15 - 2:30 Gritty Showpony Heels
Combining the best of classic burlesque and down & dirty floorwork, get ready for a romp. This class will include a juicy warmup, skill-building, and learning a piece of choreography based in jazz, cabaret, and floorwork techniques. Please bring kneepads. Open-level; shoes optional.
2:45- 4:00 Stocking Peel Floorwork
Let your legs do the stocking in this floorwork class! Please bring a pair of stockings as we'll be learning stocking peel techniques and learning a fun number taking off both stockings. Includes significant floorwork, so please bring kneepads. Open-level; no shoes needed.
Classes are open to individuals who are 19 years of age or older.
Class emails will be sent out the week of classes.
Speciality Class Cancellation Policy
• Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled class time are eligible for a full refund.
• Cancellations made less than 72 hours before class are not eligible for a refund.
Studio Accessibility: All classes will take place in our brand new studio on 734 Aldebury, Esquimalt. This studio is located on the 2nd floor, up a set of exterior steps. Sadly, there is no elevator located in the space. There is one single occupancy gender inclusive washroom in the studio.
