You will take part in both Titillate (soloist series) and Tempt (experienced group progressive)
Tempt Program Description:
The floor-show piece focuses on audience engagement, adapting choreography from studio to bar settings, managing mistakes with confidence, and performing intimately in non-theatre venues.
The main stage piece explores CUNT-emporary burlesque, authentic emotion, sensual movement, group connection, and elevated performance quality.
Titillate Program Description:
The Soloist portion of the program is an immersive, creation-focused series for performers ready to develop a burlesque solo from the ground up. You’ll craft a complete act through concept development, character work, musicality, personal branding, and storytelling.
The program includes:
Act creation from first idea to final polish
One-on-one feedback sessions
Open studio rehearsal time
Guidance in crafting strong, memorable performance moments
A supportive cohort environment
Each participant will debut their new solo at either a Floor Show or Main Stage performance.
Prerequisite: This is a fast-paced program ideal for performers ready to take the next step in their artistic growth. It’s well-suited for those who are already performing in town, have prior stage experience, or have performed in group works and now want to explore solo artistry. 2+ years of dance, burlesque, or stage performance experience. Group choreography will be taught at an intermediate/advanced level.
